The Peerless® chain link handcuff has a new design! The Model 700 used for the Practical Training Cuff now incorporates spun rivet construction for increased strength and durability. Smooth single strand action allows for fast and efficient cuffing. The profiled edges minimize the risk of tissue and nerve injury. The Model 700 has been approved by the National Institute of Justice. It comes with a lifetime warranty for manufacture defects. Two keys supplied.

The term single lock refers to a single release button on each side of the cuff, the button opens the cuff quickly by sliding it in the direction of the arrow (see photo). A 'single lock' model has a total of 4 buttons ( one on each side of the cuff times two cuffs per pair).
The term 'double lock' refers to the ability of the cuff to be used to quickly train in the use of the double lock feature found on modern handcuffs. The double lock model features a button to double lock and unlock the cuff quickly. This is in addition to the single lock buttons for releasing the cuffs.
